The West Virginia Bible Quiz Final took place June 18, 2011 in Morgantown. Two teams from Morgantown, a team from Wellsburg, and a team from Craigsville each after learning scripture sought to answer the most questions. Results are here listed.

The West Virginia District United Pentecostal Church has fifty nine churches and three daughter works. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. With 48 of 59 churches reporting there were 5,924 people in WV District UPCI Sunday Schools on Easter Sunday 2011. Compare this number with 6,849 locked up in WV state prisons and regional jails. That was 925 more incarcerated then in our reporting Sunday Schools. Include Sunday School in your prayer. Support Sunday School by sending your Save Our Children Offering to Brother Jon Henry by June first. Then let us work together to “REACH” the lost for Jesus. Everybody ought to be in Sunday School.

With 33 out of 59 churches reporting Easter Sunday School attendance in the West Virginia District the total is 4,442 people. Sunday School is REACHING people. If you have not done so please send in your Sunday School Attendance for Easter Sunday. Also we are asking for a great Save Our Children Offering. Please send your offering to Brother Jon Henry by June 1st. Thank you for participating.
The UPCI has asked the WV District Sunday School Department to gather and report the Easter Sunday School Attendance for all district churches. Will you help us by reporting your attendance. Will you also let us know if you are using UPCI Sunday School Literature? Then we ask, will you please send to your district Sunday School Department a Save Our Children Offering? Thank You for caring about reaching souls for Jesus.
Our goal is to “REACH” and “WIN” people to Jesus through Sunday School. Look at the results for the month of April 2011. With nine churches reporting there were 981 visitors in our district Sunday Schools. What are you doing that is getting people to go with you to Sunday School. Leave a comment. Perhaps your method would work for others.
We are asking that all WV District churches report their Easter Attendance to SSDir@wvupci.org. Would you also report if you do or do not use the UPCI Sunday School literature. Our prayer is that you would have a great attendance in Sunday School Easter Sunday with many visitors. In the first three weeks of the Sunday School outreach we have reports of 316 visitors in Sunday School. Sunday School continues to be a great method for REACHING people who need Jesus.
