Some of our departments have their own separate websites, which is fine, of course. However, all our departments are encouraged to also post their info about events, fund drives, etc, here on the main district website. Why? There are several important reasons.
- “Posting once publishes everywhere WV UPCI” — Due to the built-in features of our main website, a single post here on www.wvupci.org will cause your message to automatically appear on three other sites: the WV District’s Twitter feed, on the WV District’s Facebook, and on the WV District’s Google Plus page. That’s four different points of contact from the effort of just one post. (See images below.) Want to post something? Click here now.
- “Central point of access” — While many of our ministers and members know about this main website, fewer know about all the additional departmental domains elsewhere. When our departmental leaders and teams continually post here, that helps each department stay in touch with its readers, and it increases the chances of getting viewers to go to those separate departmental websites elsewhere.
- “WV UPCI’s Automated Weekly Newsletter” — Each Monday morning, an automated email newsletter goes out to our subscribers. It includes all of the new posts made during the prior week. Think ahead and post in advance, so your article’s inclusion in the newsletter will be timed properly. Want to subscribe? Click here now.
Below are screenshots showing an initial post here (A), and the other three sites that get automated updates (B, C, and D) because of that initial post:
