Ilda Wolford (WV) inducted into UPCI’s “Order of the Faith”

Rev. Ilda Wolford of Harman, WV, to be inducted into the UPCI's "Order of the Faith" in 2011.

Rev. Ilda Wolford of Harman, WV, has been selected by the United Pentecostal Church International to be honored at the 2011 General Conference in Louisville, KY, as one of this year's inductees into the "Order of the Faith." This is the highest honor that is bestowed upon a minister of the UPCI for their contribution to the work of God. She is 87 years old. The only other West Virginian so honored has been Rev. William H. Cole.

The Order of the Faith, established in 2002, is the United Pentecostal Church International's prestigious award honoring outstanding achievement and exemplary service to the UPCI. Members are decided upon by the Executive Committee. The Order of the Faith's new members are inducted at the annual General Conference of the UPCI, held during the fall of each year.
