It's that time again! CCYC 2015 is gearing up to be one of the best yet!
Back again this year are our breakout sessions for Friday morning. Three different groups (Teen, Hyphen and Ministry) will meet on Friday morning for a panel discussion/forum dealing with specific issues to their demographic. Additionally, Friday night after-service events will include a Lock-in at the YMCA for ages 12-17 and a Hyphen event at the Civic Center for ages 18-30!
Don’t miss this event as it promises to be the most active and exciting Youth Congress in years!

West Virginia District Ministers, Saints, and Students:
Greetings in the name of Jesus!
It is with great excitement and anticipation that I write to you today to inform you of the 2014 WV Youth on Mission trip to the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! From July 10 - 14, the WV Youth Ministries Team will be leading a group of students to our neighboring district to help in the Metro Missions work that Reverend Justin and Sister Tiphanii Meadors, former WV Youth Secretary and wife, are beginning.
The city of Philadelphia, PA, is one of the least evangelized metropolitan areas of our country, with over six million people who live in and around the city. The focus location of the 2014 WVYOM efforts will be in the region of South Philadelphia, where the Meadors are planting a church.
While in Philadelphia, the WVYOM team will be involved in evangelism efforts throughout the city. In addition, we plan to visit many of the landmarks that serve as the roots of American independence and history.
Therefore, I would like to extend an invitation to teens age 15 and up, young adults, youth workers, and ministers of the West Virginia District to join us for this exciting opportunity to minister to the souls of the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!
All applications must be mailed to:

Finally, please be aware that applicants must first consult their pastor, then print the application and mail it along with the application fee by April 15, 2014. All portions of the application must be completed and pastor’s approval and signature received prior to any applicant being approved.

On 3/7/14 a tremendous event occurred, thanks to our sectional and district Youth leadership. The event was organized by Section 1 Youth Leader Nate Reed, and the special speakers were CAC's own Zach Sandy and WV District Youth President Joel Sites. Seldom has any event for only one section been so well attended. There were people present from all five sections of West Virginia! The fact that a Bible Quiz was scheduled for the next day at the same venue (Christian Apostolic Church) may have contributed to that fact. The service was truly wonderful, with the anointing of God flowing in all the singing, the skit, the speaking, and the times in the altar when young people were powerfully impacted.
"I’ve been engaged in various forms of social media since AOL chat rooms in 1994. And I’ve never seen a more dangerous application targeting teenagers, specifically girls, than SnapChat. The premise of SnapChat is simple. You take a picture, send it to a friend, and they can only see it for up to 10 seconds before it’s deleted. And that’s where the lie begins. I want to be blunt. My goal for this post is to motivate you to delete SnapChat from your phone...." [read more].
