Daniel Garlitz is a husband, father, and ordained Christian minister. He is the presiding Bishop of Bonnieview Apostolic Chapel in Keyser, WV, and former Superintendent for both the Pennsylvania District and the WV District of the United Pentecostal Church International. He is an honorary member of the WV District Board, UPCI. He is also an honorary member of the General Board of the United Pentecostal Church International (honored as since 2011).
Daniel Garlitz served as an Assistant Pastor to James Williamson of the Bonnieview Apostolic Chapel (Keyser), evangelizing full time. He later served as Pastor of Chesapeake Apostolic Church, WV District UPCI Section 5 Youth Leader, WV District UPCI Youth Secretary, and then as WV District UPCI Youth President.
In 1977 Daniel and Sandy Garlitz pioneered a new work in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. There he was elected to serve as the Pennsylvania District’s Youth President, Section 3 Presbyter, and then as the District Superintendent in 1984.
In 1990, he returned to Keyser to serve as Pastor of the Bonnieview Apostolic Chapel. Back in West Virginia, he served as Section 2 Presbyter, District Secretary-Treasurer and was elected in 1991 as the West Virginia District Superintendent, serving until 2001. In 2003 he was again elected as the District Superintendent. Rev. Garlitz has been on numerous mission trips including Ethiopia, Uganda, Malawi, and Chile. During these trips he has seen many receive the Holy Ghost and many miraculous healings.
